Established in 1984 to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences relating to the advancement of international trade among foreign government trade representatives from all nations.
An apolitical organization, the Association of Foreign Trade Representatives is dedicated to the growth of our members' knowledge, insights and contacts.
Past speakers have included representatives of J.C. Penney International Buying, the Office of the United States Trade Representative, Philipp Brothers, U.S. Department of Commerce, N.Y. State Department of Economic Development, U.S. Food & Drug Administration, George Little Management, National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, USA-ITA (United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel), and N.Y. City Department of Ports, International Trade & Commerce.
We plan to provide contact details for many of the foreign government trade and investment promotion offices in New York City in the near future.
